Therapy for teens and young adults who feel different, overwhelmed, or stuck pretending they're okay.
Anxiety. Identity. Overthinking.
Whether you’re masking, questioning, navigating neurodivergence, or feeling stuck in patterns you don’t understand yet, you deserve therapy where you don’t have to perform being okay.
In-person in Suwanee, Georgia

Many of the people I work with have spent years wondering:
"Why does everything seem harder for me than it does for everyone else?"
Maybe you're masking.
Maybe you're overthinking every interaction.
Maybe you're questioning your identity, navigating neurodivergence, carrying the effects of trauma, or feeling like you never quite fit anywhere.
My job isn't to fix you.
My job is to help you understand what's underneath.
Together, we'll make sense of the patterns that developed for a reason, figure out what still serves you, and create space for more of the life and relationships you actually want.
You don't need a perfect explanation to start therapy.
You just need a place where you can stop pretending you're okay and begin understanding what's really going on.
Every therapist brings something different into the room. Here's a little of mine.
“You are allowed to bring the messy, nerdy, unsure, still-figuring-it-out parts of yourself.”
Many of the people I work with have spent years trying harder.
Trying harder to fit in.
Trying harder to stay organized.
Trying harder not to overthink.
Trying harder to be the version of themselves they think everyone else wants.
The problem is that most of these patterns didn't appear out of nowhere.
Masking, anxiety, people-pleasing, overthinking, shutdowns, and feeling different often started as ways to cope, adapt, or stay safe.
What helped at one point in your life can become exhausting when you're carrying it every day.
That's why simply telling yourself to "stop worrying," "be more confident," or "just relax" rarely works.
When you understand the pattern, you can stop blaming yourself for it.
Therapy isn't about becoming a completely different person. It's about understanding yourself well enough to make choices instead of running on autopilot.
Together, we'll get curious about the patterns that keep showing up, where they came from, and what they may be trying to protect. We'll identify what's helping, what's no longer serving you, and what might need a little more attention and care.
The goal isn't perfection.
It's feeling more connected to yourself.
More confident in your decisions.
More comfortable taking up space.
And less exhausted from trying to be everything for everyone else.
Because when you understand what's underneath the struggle, things start to make a lot more sense.
Some of the experiences and patterns that often bring people into therapy with me.

Jessica earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and has experience supporting students and families in public school settings. Having attended high-achieving, high-pressure schools herself and worked in schools during COVID, she understands that stress, belonging, and identity can show up in many different ways. She's also a proud nerd with a love for DC comics, DnD, musical theatre, and more books than she can reasonably fit on a shelf. If there's something you care deeply about, she's always interested in learning why it matters to you.
You’ve tried to fit in, explain yourself, work harder, and get it right... but something still feels off.
Therapy with Jessica can help you stop asking what’s wrong with you and start understanding what makes sense about you.
