Hey, I’m Nadya—the Spoonie Therapist.

I’m an EMDR therapist working with teens and adults who feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves despite pushing through everything.

You might look like you’re holding it together… but it doesn’t feel that way.

You keep going. You get through the day.
But it takes more out of you than it should.

My clients often feel like they’re running on empty.

On the outside, it looks like they have it handled.
On the inside, it feels like everything is on fire—and they don’t even know where to start.

They’ve tried to push through it, ignore it, work around it…

And still… it keeps catching up with them.

Over time, that constant pushing creates distance—from their body, their emotions, and the people around them.

They feel disconnected, lonely, and overwhelmed.

This is where I help people get unstuck

running on empty

No matter how much you rest, it never feels like enough—and you’re tired of everything taking so much out of you.

disconnected from your body

You’re not sure what you feel or need anymore—just that something feels off and hard to access.

pushing past your limits

You keep going even when the signs are there—and your body always ends up paying for it later.

Why does this keep happening?

At a certain point, this isn’t about trying harder.

If pushing through worked… you wouldn’t feel this exhausted.

You’ve learned how to keep going—how to get through the day and override what your body is telling you.

And for a while, that works.

Until it doesn’t.

Because eventually, your body pushes back.

The exhaustion doesn’t go away.
Everything starts to take more out of you than it should.

This isn’t a failure.

It’s what happens when your nervous system has been under stress for too long—whether from trauma, chronic illness, or constantly pushing past your limits.

You adapted to survive.

But you haven’t had the space to feel safe, supported, and connected in your own body.

This is where things start to shift.

Instead of pushing through, we start listening.

Instead of overriding your body, we work with it.

Instead of forcing change, we create space for it.

Over time, you may notice:

  • More energy that actually lasts
  • A clearer sense of what you feel and need
  • Less guilt around rest and limits
  • More connection—to yourself and others

You don’t have to keep living at the edge of your capacity.

It’s possible to feel more at ease in your body—and more like yourself again.

You might recognize yourself here, too...

exhausted

You’re tired in a way that rest doesn’t fix—and no matter how much you slow down, it never quite feels like enough.

pushing through

You keep going even when your body is telling you to stop, and you’re not sure how to do life any other way.

disconnected

It’s hard to tell what you feel—or what you need—just that something feels off and harder to access than it used to be.

burned out

You’ve been pushing for so long that even small things feel overwhelming—and you don’t bounce back the way you used to.

chronic illness

Your energy isn’t consistent, and life doesn’t always adjust to that—so you’re constantly trying to keep up in a body with different limits.

neurodivergent

You’ve spent years trying to keep up in systems that weren’t built for you—and it’s exhausting to keep forcing yourself to fit.
