Most of our clients are smart, capable people who are used to being the responsible one, the strong one, the one who figures things out.
By the time they reach out, they’ve usually tried a lot of things already.
Books, podcasts, journaling, pushing through, maybe even therapy.
They don’t need more advice.
They need something that actually helps things change.
That’s what we do here.
This is not a therapy session.
This is not a sales call.
It’s just a short conversation to:
If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you that too.
There are many good therapists out there.
Different practices are good at different things.
We want to make sure you end up in the right place, even if that’s not with us.
Simple as that.
If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, you can pick a time from the embedded calendar and we’ll start there.
We are a private pay practice and do not accept insurance directly.
Many clients use out-of-network benefits, and we provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
We also accept HSA and FSA cards.
Session fees vary by therapist, with most sessions in the $210–$300 range.
We may have an intern in training available at a much lower cost.
Intake appointments are more complex and cost $25 more than regular sessions.
We will go over all fees clearly before scheduling your intake.
We offer in-person therapy in Suwanee, Georgia.
We also offer online therapy across Georgia, Florida, Illinois, and Virginia.
Many of our clients choose online therapy, and EMDR can be done online as well.
The first appointment is called an intake.
It’s more involved and sometimes a little longer session where your therapist will get a full picture of what’s been going on, your history, and what you want to change.
You and your therapist will talk about goals and make a plan for therapy.
This depends on your goals and what you’re working on.
Some people come for a few months, and some stay longer to work on deeper patterns.
We talk about this openly throughout therapy so you’re never wondering what the plan is.
You don’t have to figure that out on your own.
During the Start Here call, we’ll talk about what’s been going on and help match you with the therapist who would be the best fit.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps your brain and nervous system process difficult experiences so they don’t keep triggering the same emotional reactions and patterns.
It’s often used for trauma, anxiety, and long-standing patterns that don’t change with talk therapy alone.
Complex trauma usually comes from ongoing experiences over time, not just one single event.
This can include things like difficult childhood experiences, chronic stress, relational trauma, or long periods of feeling unsafe, unsupported, or not good enough.
Many people with complex trauma look very functional on the outside but struggle with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling like they’re never good enough.
Under federal law, healthcare providers are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate that explains the expected cost of services for clients who are not using insurance.
We provide this information before your intake appointment.
That’s completely normal.
Most people are nervous before their first appointment, even if they’ve been in therapy before.
The Start Here call is meant to make the process feel easier and help you know what to expect before you begin.
